Golden straw color. Intense aromas of grapefruit, p ineapple, baking spice, and vanilla. Velvety at first followed by lemon, honeyed agave fruit, and candied nut flavors. The moderate, prickly heat then surfaces (briefly) along with brown spice and a solid oak structure that balances nicely with the initial fruit. Faint mineral notes in a long 4-5 minute finish. A big anejo with plenty of complexity and character.
Rich, distinctive and wonderfully complex, its flavor strikes the perfect balance between agave, wood and hints of vanilla. Best experienced neat in a snifter or simply on the rocks.
