The 2003 Marojallia is one of the top wines of the Margaux appellation. Its saturated purple color is accompanied by a sumptuous perfume of charcoal, graphite, blackberries, and blueberries. Layered, medium to full-bodied, with terrific precision, surprising freshness as well as vigor for a wine from this vintage, and plenty of tannin, depth, and length, it should be at its finest between 2008-2022." Although this small vineyard is owned by the Porcheron family, Marojallia is the garage operation of Jean-Luc Thunevin and his wife Murielle. Sadly, production is usually less than 500 cases.
