Flowery nose with hints of stone fruit, elegant, a vein of mineral, lean body yet fresh-fruit acidity, well defined.
| Wine maker notes |
| The 40 centimeter thick top soil consists of loamy and sandy clay in combination with gneiss and mica. Via volcanic cuts quite a few small stones get to the surface, retaining their daily dose of solar energy, which at night time again will be emitted. This results in a particularly consistent maturation and shaping of goût de terroir, although the wine actually seems nimble and playful. |
