Review

This new Primitivo from our friends at Puglia's Menhir winery expresses the fresh, juicy side of the Primitivo grape. Fruit bowl aromas of crushed red and black berries are bolstered by medium-bodied flavors of the same that finish with a pleasing succulence. We've enjoyed this distinctive Italian red with a slight chill and whole grilled fish smothered in herbs, as well as rustic, meaty pastas. The Primo is also a perfect match for pizza pies.
