This superb wine is 82% Cabernet Sauvignon and 18% Merlot grapes grown in the Yatir forest which is Israel's largest planted forest, it envelops the vineyards, providing a unique terroir; Jerusalem Pine, carob & olive trees radiate an aura of calm & tranquility. Yatir Forst wine is deep crimson in color with a bouquet of ripe currants & Mediterranean herbs. The flavor combines power (ripe black currant) with elegance, freshness, and length. This wine is designed for long term cellaring.

Daniel Rogov 92 Points
Dark garnet towards purple, full bodied, somewhat dominated by smoky oak and sweet cedar aromas and flavors at this stage but with the balance and structure to assure that the wine will integrate nicely with time. As it does, look for a deeply tannic wine that opens in the glass to reveal ripe currant, black cherry and plum fruits, those backed up nicely by hints of freshly turned earth, minerals and tobacco. Best 2006-2010.
